Motherwell and Rangers will face off in the first fixture of the Scottish Premier League this weekend. The two sides will be the first to return to action after the international break, with kickoff set for 12:15 local time. Neither side has met defeat this season and both will be looking to pick up all three points and gain good position in the standings early in the season. The match will be at Fir Park in Motherwell, Scotland, live at Sky Sports 3 UK TV Channel.

Rangers come into the match unbeaten since last November on the road in the Scottish Premier League and will be looking for points in a place they've struggled recently. The last three fixtures at Fir Park between the two sides have ended in draws. Motherwell are off to a solid start this season, picking up two draws in a row after opening the season with a win. Rangers’ offense has been on red hot so far this season as they have collected 10 goals through three games so far. Rangers’ most recent match was a 4-1 victory at home over Hamilton. Motherwell's last match was a 0-0 draw on the road against Aberdeen.

Both sides enter the match with some changes to their squads. Motherwell will welcome two defenders to the pitch as Yassin Moutaouakil makes his debut and Shaun Hutchinson returns after missing the 0-0 draw at Aberdeen. Moutaoukil is on loan with Motherwell from Charlton Athletic of England's Football League Championship. Motherwell will however be without Paul Slane and Darren Smith this weekend. Rangers will have winger Jerome Rothen make his debut with the club against Motherwell while Kyle Lafferty will miss the next two weeks for Rangers. Lafferty sustained a medial ligament injury during the break playing for Northern Ireland.

Both teams will be eager to pick up all three points. With a victory, Rangers can put the pressure on Celtic to keep pace atop the table with them when the Bhoys kick off at 15:00. Motherwell can move up to a comfortable spot near the top of the table if they can pick up all three points.
