Saturday's first Barclay's Premier League fixture features giant killer Burnley FC travelling to London to take on Chelsea FC. The fixture will be a rematch of last season's Carling Cup match between these two sides. In last year's matchup Burnley came into Stamford Bridge and forced the Blues to extra time and eventually penalties with a 1-1 draw. Burnley walked out winners, stunning Chelsea with a 5-4 victory on penalties. Saturday's came will kick off at 12:45 local time at Stamford Bridge in London.

Chelsea scored a solid victory over neighboring Fulham FC over the weekend. Didier Drogba continued his hot start to the season by scoring first for the Blues. Nicolas Anelka, last year's Premier League scoring leader, found the net in the 76th minute to help Chelsea cruise to a 2-0 win. Burnley is riding high so far in their return to the top flight after a 33 year absence. Burnley followed up their shock 1-0 victory over Manchester United last week with a 1-0 victory over Everton at the weekend.

Chelsea appears to be thriving under new manager Carlo Ancelotti. Ancelotti has the Blues playing solid football up and down the pitch and the new formation he installed appears to suit Chelsea quite well. Striker Didier Drogba, who is off to a hot start, has promised that there will be more to come from Chelsea over the course of the season. Burnley seems to be adjusting to life in the Premier League quite quickly. While it is still early, their two home victories over Manchester United and Everton are a sign of good things to come.

Both teams have a good deal on the line this weekend in their Premier League matchup. Chelsea, atop the table with Tottenham on nine points, will want to continue to remain atop the league. Burnley will be hoping for another shock by stealing at least a point at Stamford Bridge, if not all three points.
