On Saturday Liverpool FC will travel to Reebok Stadium to face off with Bolton Wanderers in a Barclay's Premier League match. Bolton, one of the leagues four winless teams so far, will hope to take advantage of a slumping Liverpool and pick up their first points of the season. Liverpool will be looking to right the ship as they have already lost as many games this season, two, as they did all of last year. Kickoff will be at 15:00 local time in Bolton, UK.

Liverpool comes into the game reeling after a sloppy 3-1 defeat on Monday at Anfield against Aston Villa. Liverpool had all the early chances, but bad luck and poor marking left them down 2-0 at halftime. Fernando Torres gave the Reds life late in the second half, but four minutes later Villa struck again from the penalty spot to wrap up a 3-1 victory. Bolton has suffered back to back 1-0 losses to open the Premier League season and find themselves goalless and sitting on zero points through two games. Their latest Premier League loss was a 1-0 defeat over the weekend to Hull City.

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has spent his week doing what he does best, defending his strategy and asking for patience from supporters. Liverpool are off to a horrendous start in the 09/10 Premier League season, already suffering as many defeats as they did all of last season. Liverpool players still believe the club can contend for a title and Benitez has addressed media concerns surrounding the team’s performance so far. After losing midfield pillar Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid, Liverpool appear unable to control games through the midfield.

Both teams are in desperate need of points from this weekend's fixture. A loss will leave Bolton with no points through three games. A loss for Liverpool would be equally damaging as their fellow "Big Four" members are off to hot starts and sit atop the league table.
