Blackburn Rovers will return to Barclay's Premier League play this weekend as they host Wolverhampton Wanderers. The two squads will kick off at 15:00 local time at Ewood Park in Lancashire, UK. So far in the young season both teams are struggling to find traction in the league, but have made changes to their squads in an effort to right the ship, game is live at Show Shasha TV channel.

Blackburn has yet to win this season, picking up a draw two weeks ago in their last Premier League game. Rovers played to a 0-0 draw with West Ham United two weeks ago while Wolves played to a 1-1 draw with Hull City in their last match. Wolverhampton find themselves in the bottom half of the table, but not terribly far from moving into the upper half of the table if they can string together a few good matches.

Blackburn made a last minute move before the transfer window closed, adding defender Pascal Chimbonda. The French international is coming from Tottenham where he saw inconsistent playing time and has signed a two year deal with the Rovers. Wolverhampton was also active at the close of the transfer window. Segundo Castillo will be joining the squad on a season long loan from Red Star Belgrade while Stefan Maierhafer joins the Wolves from Rapid Vienna. Maierhafer has a three year deal in place. Wolverhampton found out that defender Stephen Ward's knee injury will keep him out much longer than initially anticipated, with Ward expected to be out as much as 12 weeks.

Both teams will want the full three points from this fixture. Blackburn has only one point so far this season, keeping them just above the two remaining teams with zero points. As those two squads play each other, the standings at the bottom are certain to change. Blackburn need to get some points and move up soon or it could be a long season. All three points for Wolverhampton would mean a move into the upper half of the league table, making for an impressive early start for the newly promoted side.
