The two teams will square off at 22:15 local time in Spain at the Camp Nou. While the match is listed as a friendly for both teams, the atmosphere and the play will likely have more of a competitive feel to it.

In this young season, neither team has had much of an opportunity to partake in full on competitive football and will be looking to tune up for the full season. Manchester City opened the English season this past Saturday with a solid 2-0 win over Blackburn Rovers. Barcelona has yet to begin the Spanish season but did play the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup on Sunday against Athletic Club, picking up a 2-1 victory on the road.

Barca fans are hoping to get a look at their new striker as Ibrahimovic joined Barcelona late this summer in a move from Inter Milan.

Despite the friendly tag on the match, both teams will likely come out firing. Manchester City will be looking to knock off the defending European Champ and prove they can hang with the big boys in Europe, while at the same time sending a message to foes back home. Barcelona will be looking to get everyone on the same page before the season starts, and if things go well, get Ibrahimovic his Barca debut in the process.
