Aston Villa will try to right the ship after a disappointing midweek performance when they play host to Fulham in the final matchup of the Barclay's Premier League this weekend. Fulham too will be looking to get back on track in the Premier League after a disappointing outing last weekend at home. Kick off will be at 16:00 at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK.

Both sides enter the matchup after experiencing up and down weeks on the pitch. Aston Villa put together a masterful performance on the pitch in their last Premier League game, defeating Liverpool at Anfield on Monday 3-1. Fulham on the other hand, began the week with a disappointing loss last weekend at home against Chelsea. The Blues dominated at Craven Cottage and walked away with a 2-0 victory over Fulham.

Villa and Fulham were both active in the midweek, looking to advance to the group stages of the Europa League. Aston Villa was at home against Austrian side Rapid Vienna, looking to overturn a 1-0 Vienna advantage. Up 2-0 in the second half, Villa looked as though they were going to overturn Vienna's advantage, but a late goal for Vienna changed all that. Villa walked away 2-1 victors, but the aggregate score was tied at 2-2 and Vienna's late away goal tipped the scales in their favor. Fulham meanwhile were close to blowing their advantage over Russian side FC Amkar Perm. After beating Perm 3-1 at home, Fulham traveled to Russia in the midweek and lost 1-0, but advance to the group stages on 3-2 aggregate.

Both clubs sit on three points through two games and will be looking for the full three points to leapfrog up the table toward the middle of the standings.
