On August 19 at 20:00 CET, Liverpool is set to take on Stoke City at Britannia Stadium in just the second game of the early season. In the season opener, Liverpool battled Tottenham at home, but lost the match 2-1, while Stoke City faced Burnley at Britannia, winning the match soundly 2-0.
