Tottenham Hotspur visit Hull Wednesday at KC Stadium in the second match for both clubs this season. Kick off is scheduled for 19:45 BST.

Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham had a cracking start to their Premiership campaign, taking all three points against Liverpool with a well-deserved 2-1 wins, despite the loud complaints of Rafa Benitez.

Phil Brown’s Hull side, however, deserved at least a point at Stamford Bridge where their stubborn display on defense went for naught after Didier Drogba’s lucky stoppage-time goal gave all the points to Chelsea.

For Wednesday’s match, Redknapp is without Spurs’ captain, Ledley King, along with team stalwarts, Jermaine Jenas and Gareth Bale. He’s hoping that center-back Vedran Corluka sees the pitch for the first time this season.

Hull City is still waiting on a work permit for the Yank starlet forward, Jozy Altidore, while Spurs old boy, Dean Marney, won’t be able to face his former teammates due to the knee injury he received Saturday at Stamford Bridge. Craig Fagan is still ruled out of Brown’s squad, as his hernia hasn’t recovered enough for him to see the pitch.

Hull were dealt the cruelest blow of the weekend after Drogba’s late strike. It is highly important for them to get at least a point at home. After last season’s disaster of an opening, Spurs had a wonderful start last weekend. They hope to keep up their good fortune, but Phil Brown’s lads are going to be tough to break down at home.
